Quaker $2/1 Coupon

Here is a link to print $2/1 box of Quaker Instant Oatmeal. Be sure to print it two times! This should mean free oatmeal; I'll be looking out for sales!

Thanks, Totally Target!

Meijer this week

Today is the last day to catch a couple of sales at Meijer. There are a ton of items 10 for $10, get the 11th item free (Green Giant frozen veggies, Aunt Millie's bread, Betty Crocker Frosting, 2 liters of pop, Pillsbury Grands, Dole canned Fruit, etc). I went last night planning on spending less than $30 and I ended up spending over $80!  But I picked up a lot of things I needed.

One item in this sale you may want to catch is Campbell's Select Harvest soup. It's part of the 10/$10, and you can use (2) $1/2 at coupons.com AND $1/4 from Meijer Mealbox to score 4 cans for just $0.25 each!

Also Better Crocker Frosting has a CAT running. Buy 2, get $1 OYNO, buy 3 get $2 OYNO, buy 4+ get $3 OYNO. So if you buy 4 ($4 total) you get back $3, so each one is really only costing you $0.25!

The Pillsbury CAT is still running. You can buy 5 Grands Biscuits, use (2) $0.30/2 (double to $0.60) and get back a $3 CAT. Super cheap!

Part of why I spent so much was because I was browsing clearance items. Here is my daughter with something she convinced me to buy.

It's a Toy Story sidewalk Chalk set, normally $14.99, down to $4.50. It's very cute, 21 pieces of chalk, 3 stencils (Woody, Buzz, Woody's horse) and 3D glasses. The chalk really does have a 3D effect. It was a nice way for us to spend part of this lovely fall day.

There were a lot of these, and tons of lunch bags. I'm sure the bags will go down lower as the year progresses.

Even though I spent way more than I had planned, I got a ton of stuff.

Thanks to Saving Addiction for the heads up on some of these deals.

Toys "R" Us Events tomorrow (10/16)

I just called to confirm that Toys "R" Us in Saginaw is having two free events for children.

First from 12-2, there is a Chuggington Event. During the event, preschoolers can see and play with Chuggington toys, which are available for the first time in the United States, interact with other Chuggington fans, enjoy story time, coloring and complimentary gifts, while supplies last.

Then from 2-4 there is the Disney Princess and Me Royal event. Activities will include a decorate-your-own Princess & Me tiara, story time, and more.

Of course these events are to draw people in to buy the related toys, but if your children (and you) can resist, it's a fun *free* thing to do in town.

Thanks to Hip2Save for the heads up

My Kroger trip tonight

Since I'm back into town, and kinda into the swing of things, I made it out to Kroger tonight. As I suspected, several of the items that were on sale last week are still on sale, just not it the ad, though  didn't catch them all. Go here for the coupon matchups. These are definitely still on sale:

Stayfree and Carefree Products, $2.50

Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers, $1.49

Butterball Turkey Bacon, $2.50

**********************************************************

I bought 8 packages of Idahoan potatoes ($2 total) and received (2) $1 ONYO CATS. Every 4 pouches are generating a $1 CAT. Sweet! These are great to have on hand when you need a quick and easy side...

Have you heard of One Kings Lane?

One Kings Lane is a members-only online shop that offers sales for 72 hour stretches. Sign up here and you'll receive a $15 credit to your account, which can also be applied to shipping. Once you sign up you can choose to refer other members, and each referral will get you more credit!

I've checked out the site occasionally, and although a lot of the stuff is pretty pricey, you can find some decent deals. Right now you can order 10 birthday cards from Tiny Prints, plus a gift code for 5 free personalized cards from their website for $15. With your credit you'd pay only the $7.95 for shipping, not a bad price! Zak Designs also has a few items priced around $15, so once again you'd only pay for shipping. Or you can hold onto your credit til something cheap comes around and you can score something for free!

Sargento Coupons, others

I just noticed on Coupons.com that there are 2 $0.55/1 Sargento Reduced Sodium Cheese coupons. These frequently go on sale at Kroger and Meijer, though it will not double at Meijer.
